A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Jim Flisrand reported that U. S. Sprint was going to -go through -
Laurel with a line on Railroad right-of-way and they would get
back to us at a later date. Jim had also gotten a letter from
the department of Highways wanting to go ahead with the Maryland
Lane Project while the money is available.
Chuck Dickerson made a motion seconded by the Ernie Davis that we
ask the council to make the Maryland Lane project No. 1 in priority.
Jim Flisrand wants to know what to do with the alley from Alder to
Idaho? It would take a lot of money to fix the alley. He would
like to see the alley closed with council approval.
Ernie Davis reported that the size of the neighborhood watch signs
would cause the cost to be very high to the city. therefore,
Jim Flisrand said he would ask for smaller signs to keep down the
expense.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
