A. Members present: Chairman L.D. Collins
Ernie Davis , Jim Flisrand , Ervin Wood
B. Other's present: Donna Kilpatrick_, Joanne Fox and Benna Tiensvold
A quorum (3 or more),present the following action was taken by
the committee:
1. Donna Kilpatrick, representing Laurel Women in Business,
would like to have the garbage cans placed downtown.
The cans will be 24" X 14" with a lid.. Motion by
Ervin Wood to allow the cans, seconded by Ernie Davis
(with Council approval).
2.. Jim Flisrand received a letter from the State that
they will give us five to ten thousand tons of millings.
• 3. Ervin Wood asked what was going to be done at 7th Avenue
and 4th Street West about the drainage. Ernie Davis
said they would place a culvert at that intersection.
Ervin also asked about the culvert at Railroad. Street.
Ernie Davis said they have the culvert and it would
be put in as soon as the weather got better.
4. Ervin Wood asked about a stop sign at Maryland and
5th Avenue. Jim Flisrand said they were looking into
the problem at the present time.
Meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
