A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
lst Order of Business: The bids were opened for the concrete
work.
Merle Cherry $ 18,687.00
Quality Concrete - $ 26,122.50
There is a difference of $ 7,435.50 between the two bids.
6A.- . Motion by Ernie Davis, seconded by Ervin Wood to accept
Pr _
Merle Cherry's bid with council approval. Passed.
2nd Order of Business: Lucky Seibert, owner of the Owl Cafe,
wanted to know if the street sweeping could be done in such a
fashion as to not interfere with his restaurant business in the
mornings. We said we would take the matter up with the Council.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
