A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
First order of business:
Jim Flisrand reported, after talking to the state, that it is
against the law for anyone to block the state highway for the
purpose of loading or unloading. After a discussion a motion
was made b Ron Marshall, seconded by Richard Barnhardt, to have
Joe Bradley write a letter to Thomae Lumber informing them to not
use the highway for loading and unloading (with council approval).
Motion carried.
Second order of Business:
Chuck Rodgers wants to see if the City can clean the gutters of
weeds and dirt around the parks on the off sides. Jim Flisrand
said that he would check and see which ones needed cleaning.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:40 P.M.
