A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The Laurel Women in Business would like to place trash
containers in front of 8 businesses in Laurel. The size of the
containers is 242' X 32119 30 gallon capacity and a weight of
• 330 pounds. After discussion Motion by Chuck Rodgers, seconded
by Ron Marshall to allow the containers with Council approval.
Motion carried.
The Laurel Women in Business would also like to place a
bench beside each trash container if money allows. The size
of the bench is 54 inches long X 14 inches wide, with a
weight of 230 pounds. After discussion Motion by Richard
Barnhardt, seconded by Ron Marshall to approve with Council
approval.
Discussion was held on the Culver at 4th Avenue and
Third Street. Jim Worthington reported that the culvert has
been cleaned and is working properly.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 pm.
