E 2) Discussion about large trucks parking on SE Fourth Street for

1) Mike Atkinson reported on a request by Leonard Fichtner for a
No U Turn sign to be posted along Southeast Fourth Street and
S. Washington Avenue. To stop traffic from turning around in
the street causing a traffic hazard by his business.
Discussion - Motion by Ron Marshall to have No U Turn sign
installed along SE Fourth Street and South Washington Avenue.
Seconded by Gay Easton. Motion carried.

Motion by Larry Thomas to have four hour parking sign
installed on SE Fourth Street and S. Washington Avenue to
cover period from 8:00 A.M., to 6:00 P.M.,. Seconded by Gay
Easton. Motion Carried.
3) Discussion on a request by Merle E. Breeden to have
handicapped parking zone at 217 E. 5th Street - letter
attached.
Motion by Larry Thomas to table further action on this request
until next Street and Alley Committee Meeting. Seconded by
Ron Marshall. Motion carried.
4) Discussion on widening the road on S. Fifth Street between
Yellowstone Avenue and Cedar Avenue. Chuck Rodgers will check
with Jim Worthington about the progress of this project.
5) Discussed patching and chip sealing with the City for this
year. r
