A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
1) Ron Engh - discussion of anode system for the water reservoir
to stop corrosion. Approximately $9,500 includes labor,
material and all construction costs. The current tank will
last approximately 10 to 15 years if it is maintained as in
the past. With the anode system the reservoir should last
approximately 35 more years.
Committee recommends this be turned over to Dave Michael and
the Budget Committee.
2) Discussion of the flooding of Ron Watts'..house due to the.
draining of the water reservoir. This has been turned
over to the insurance company.
3) Taco Johns and tittle-Big Men have requested an extension
of time on the installation of grease traps.
Committee recommends denial.
4) Committee recommends the house and garage at the sewer plant
be put out.on separate bids for removal and/or demolition. b•(
5) Larry Peterson presented a curb stop repair bill for Robert
Beglau at 927 8th Avenue in.the amount of $249.00. This bill
is one years old. Beglau has been notified of the last two
Public Utilities meetings and has failed to show.
Committee recommends collection of this bill.
6) Phil Nash's bill is being held up for the moment because
Herman Hauck has not yet signed.a release.
7) Dave Michael has received information on repair kits for
the chlorine tank valves. This is in case of a ruptured
valve.
Committee made no decision on.this matter.
