A quorum 0 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
DICK FRANKS wants an adjustment on water bill of $27.46. He had
?Q no rental agreement and the bill was charged to Dick. Committee
recommends an adjustment be given.
II. ALAN LEES wants to hook up to City water and sewer. The property
is out of City limits. This is the old Fyle property and is the
third request. Committee recommends denial.
III. LYLE HANDELAND was billed $541.05 for work done at 208 W. 12th
by City crew. Committee recommends the bill be dropped to $357.05.
. IV. LYLE HANDELAND, 208 W. 12th, built a new house and did not install
a meter. Final inspection not given until July 8, 1985. Will pay
water based on July billing.
V. STANDPIPE: Dave Michael did not-send letters out to those
concerned. This matter will be at next Public Utilities meeting
on August 13th.
VI. BARBARA KELLY referred to next meeting.
VII. UTILITIES DEPOSIT: need Council guidance. $1,499.01 Village
Subdivision bad debts.
VIII. CHARGE OFF: Committee recommends charging off water and garbage
bad debts. (see attached list)
IX. METERS Cost to City for 6 months for lost remotes, meters, and
frozen meters Dec. 1, 1984, thru May 31, 1985:
3 missing meters @ $57.48 $172.44
8 missing remotes @ $16 128.00
13 frozen meters @ $57.48 747.24
