A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:

Gerald Hewitt 2602 Topeka, wants an adjustment on his-bill. -
He claims no one was living in the trailer from November 1 to
January 2nd. His wife brought water meter to City Hall on
1/2/87. There was usage from November 15th to'December 15th.
Motion from Sharon Herman, second by Dave Michael, not to
make any adjustment on the bill. Carried.
Virginia Schreiner,912W. 4th Street, claims her water usage
for December, 1986, was excessively high. She thinks her
children may have hit the remote with a stick changing readout
numbers. Ernie will recheck remote reading and meter reading
and get back to Mrs. Schreiner this week.
Herman Sorg, 13 Washington Avenue, not present, would like a
reduction on his high water and sewer bill. He was away on
vacation and had a faulty flapper in the toilet tank which
?U caused the toilet to continual) run. After discussion and
considering all water did go into the sanitary sewer, motion
1 made by Sharon Herman, second from Dave Michael, not to make
any adjustment on his bill but his summer rating should not
be based on this month's usage. Carried.
Mark Winkler, 1103 Milwaukee, not present, would like a reduction
in his sewer bill. He claims he had a leak outside in November
G"MSp and December. This could not be verified. Motion from Sharon
Herman, second by Dave Michael, not to make adjustment. Carried.
Darrell Lee McGillen would like to see four (4) street lights
put in on the north side of Kiwanis Park. This would be for
the safety of people using the park and crossing the streets.
This area is immediately adjacent to a lighting district.
Jim Flisrand will check into the possibility of extending the
present district or the possibility of forming a new district.
Meeting adjourned at 6 pm.
