PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMITTEE

Randy Peers
A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
1st Order of business: Randy Peers wanted to find out about hooking
onto the sewer for Sid's Place. Jim Flisrand said that he felt it
would have to be a force main because of the grade between Sid's
Place and Mulberry Street. After a long discussion it was decided
that no action be taken until Randy Peers appears at the City
Council meeting.
2nd Order of business: John Rutt wanted the sewer adjusted
because he does not have bottled water anymore.
Motion-by Mel Baker, seconded by Richard Barnhardt to
adjust the sewer rate to water useage only retroactive to
May 1st, with Council approval.
3rd Order of business: Sharon Herman wants to write off some
water bills but wants permission to put the garbage and sewer
on the taxes with Council approval (see attached list).
4th Order of business: Terry Fink's water and sewer lines on
South 4th. The Committee instructed Jim Flisrand to follow
proper procedure.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
