A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
Motion by Ron Marshall, seconded by Mel Baker, that they
charge off the deli.quent water bills (see attached) with Council
approval. Motion carried.
Motion by Mel Baker, seconded by Ron Marshall, to transfer
the water deposits of the people who have left Laurel to the
open Water fund. Motion carried. (see attached list)
Tom Metzger asked to have his sewer rate reduced. After a
discussion the Committee recommended denial.
Phil Curry asked that the meter pits in the trail courts be
covered because there is a fear that someone may fall into them.
Motion by Ron Marshall, seconded by Richard Barnhardt, to
ask the Council to inact an ordinance to this affect. Motion
carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
