SPIRIT A NEW F L COOPERATION January 14, 1992 Jim Worthington City Hall Box 10 Laurel, Mt 59044 Dear Jim, I am writing to let you know that I will not be able to attend the city council, meeting next Tuesday, January 21, 1992 as I had planned due to a business trip that was previously planned for that day. I would appreciate it if you would read this letter at the city council meeting, in my absence. Cenex Transportation is currently interested in adding a forced main waste water line to accomodate the disposal of waste water from our premises. The sources of such waste would include solid wastes from our office and waste water from our shop wash bay from the washing of our trucks. The residue that comes off our trucks is primarily road film with the possiblity of some oil and grease. The lane from our shop would include an oil/water separator, to intercept the oils & grease that might come off the trucks while being washed. The oil/water separator would be cleaned out by a used oil hauler when necessary. I would also agree to have the waste water tested on a regular basis to maintain that hazardous waste was not being dumped into the waste water drain. Such testing could be done by a third party with results sent directly to the Laurel City Hall and would be - paid for by Cenex Transportation, if this is agreeable. Again, I'm sorry that I'm unable to attend this meeting in person and I appreciate your consideration into this matter tonight. Thank you, Jim, for presenting this request to the city council, r?Siinnc?e?reely, Jim W. Wroge Operations Manager Cenex Transportation CENEX/LAND O' LAKES AG SERVICES P.O.
