A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
First order of business:
Request for water service: see attached map.
Motion by Bob Graham, seconded by Albert Ehrlick to allow water hook-up in Mathis Subdivision, Block 4, Lot 1 and Lot 7
Block 3 off of 5th Avenue water line and Lot 2 off of Valley
Drive water line. Motion carried, with Council approval.
Second order of business:
CSC S?
The Committee took a look at Sanders subdivision, but no action
was taken (explanation by Jim Worthington).
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.

To the Laurel City Council.,
We have been octively pursuing the purchase of lot 1; block 4; Mathis
. subdi vision, 2c o' filinq- West 141h Slreel; L ourel, Monlona and we hove found
the cost of mstollmq sewer prohibitive.
We ore asking the City Council to consider this condition that we are
proposing.... we would like to hook up to city waler supply and insloll o septic
svslem for wosle disposal.
It is our understanding that the City of L ourel may supply water if we were
annexed into the city limits and this condition we would accept. It has also
been suggested that the City of Laurel may ask us to sign an ogreement
slating that we would porticlpale in the installation costs of a sewer trunk line
(startinq of the north end of the alley between 41h and 5th ove and west

Of block 3, Mathis subdivision and lots 1,2 and3 of block 4, Mathis
subdi vision. It is our understanding fhof this participation would be equol,
involving all four lots of this subdivision.
It is our agreement, contingent upon our purchose of this lot, that we would
willingly porticipote in this cost, provided that our portion of this cost is not
over x`4500.
We hope that the City of L ourel would consider this proposal and reply to us
in o timely nature so thou we mov continue in pursuit of this purchose.

We are interested in buying a lot on West 14th St
Lot 7, block 3 of Mathis Subdivision.
Since it is adjacent to city property we are
asking you to con@ider the possibility of a city water
hook-up.
We would agree .to be annexed into the city when
necessary providing we can recieve city sewer service.
We would be willing to share costs of installing a trunk
line not to exceed a cost of $4500.
