A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Motion by Rob Harris and seconded by Kent Earris to place the new playground equipment
in Thomson Park and to move the combination chin and ladder equipment to ?;iwanis Park.
We also discussed more on Murray Park.
I,EW BUSINESS:
Discussed the repair of the swimming pool for operation this year and what will be needed.
in the future to even open the pool as it is in very poor shape.
Tennis Court repair and painting wa?+ also discussed..
A discussion was also held wl_th. Brad Krause and Gary Cleveland concerning the ball fields
and what is needed there. The Park Chairman will also host a meeting of all ball clubs
in this town as there seems to be a conflict of practice times and what field belongs
to whom. This to be held at a later date.
Another item discussed w-s the receiveing of money instead of dedicated park land as we
feel as of now that some of the park area that we are..receiving is too small for any value
and some is so poor in condition that it is more ezpensive.to improve than it is worth in
the future.
Next meeting was scheduled for April...X, 1983 at 5:00 PA'.
Meeting adjourned at 3:00PM
