OLD BUSINESS:
The committee went over the applications for caretaker at Riverside and.
considering that this position is a position that almost anyone can be
qualified for the committee used the preference for veterans and handicapped for
a tiebreaker. The man selected also has had experience with the City of Laurel
Park Dept. as he eras hired last year on our summer help program and he is a veteran
so the committee recommends that Mr Don Nelson be hired for the position at Riverside
Park..
The committee went over the survey of the recreation program and will be meeting
with the instructors that have said they would like to participate and set up
the sinner schedule.
Little Girls Softball has again requested that a temporary restraining fence be
placed by them along the ditch to prevent problems alone; the ditch. Committee
recommends approval under the condition that it be removed when the season is over.
The committee will submitting; a letter to the Burlington Northern Railroad
concerning the use of a caboose in the parks.
The committee set a .300 limit to help the Little Lea;-ue repair their fence at
Thomson Park provided they follow the r;uidelines that we set.
