PARK COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 Or more) present the following action was taken by the. committee:
Discussed the.ineta.llation.of the power pole in Thompson Park by.the.Chamber.
The Chamber had recieved permission to install the pole at no expense to the City
however now that they are through wit it they suggested that it would be a nice
gesture on the part of the City if we would pay for it(3321.25).
The Committee recommends that we not pay for it.
A spruce tree donated by Pat 1'Iulla.ney has been planted in Murray Park by the City.
We are changing the sign at South Pond to conform with its new usage.We may not need
another skating pond this winter.
Jim Flisrand will check on our south property line at Riverside Park as it appears
our neighbors to the south keep hauling in fill and moving north.
The Committee recommends closing the dirt roadway in the north side of Thompson Park.
Several people have questioned why so many cars were parked in the Park on the
weekend of Oct 19 & 20.
