B. Other's present: Bob Wetch , Jan Keller
A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Approved a request by Junior Fink to place a memorial placque--.-.
Qr? in Russell Park in memory of Lois Russell.
Motion b Bill Brennan seconded by Norman Orr to allow the
installation of 5 lights in Athletic Field in Thomson Park.
Motion carried. No park funds will be needed for this installation.
Jan Keller asked if an ad could be laced in the
p paper now for
jobs at the swimming pool, allowing more persons to get the
needed certification on time for pool opening. Ernie will see
the ad is placed in the paper.
Discussion was held on getting the swimming pool ready for
summer, putting a concession stand in Athletic Field and
improving Murray Park.
A meeting of interested groups to improve Riverside Park is set
for Monday, February 3rd at the Rod & Gun Club.
