A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Heard a report on the renovation of the Tennis Courts. Will put the
job out for bid. A problem exists with children sunbathing on the
Tennis Courts. A remedy might be different.fencing limiting access
areas with signs. With the renovation not being until late August,
some stop - gap measure need to be done with growing weeds in the
large cracks at the courts.
Discussion the boat ramp which will be started in August, at River-
side Park. Some of the hook-up facilities will be lost to allow
the new boat ramp access. Milt moved and Norm seconded that we lay
2" plastic pipe now to allow for pulling wires thru at a later.
date for installing new hook-ups. Motion carried. Jim will provide
a plan for parking near the new ramp at our July 27th meeting. We
5c also need a sign better directing campers to the office.
Discussed the -,plan for a press box in Athletic Field. Decided to
leave that till next year to allow for time to plan a location.
We will look into the possibility of a lease agreement with the
Legion Baseball group on the concession stand.
Discussed the swimming pool operation and estimated cost of a
50 X 35 shehter in Thompson Park was set at $10,000.00
