the committee:

vr" of the new play ground equipment (1 slide - 1 arch) on Murray Park.
$" Motion caried.
Discussion was held on the newly approved ordinance requiring
permits for allowing alcholic bevels in the parks. Usually
enough time is allowed for the park committee to act on large group
picnics but smaller group requests will have to be approved by the.
police department.
. Bill moved and Ron seconded that we prohibit parking east of the
swimming pool building. Motion carried.
?-IPOV40 LuAnne moved, Bill seconded that we allow no cutting of trees in
fig? Riverside Park. Motion carried.

Jim reported on the status of operation at the swimming pool.
Jim reported he had submitted new drawings to the Fish Game for a
parking area near the boat ramp area in Riverside Park.
Bids for the new Tennis Courts will be advertised August 5th.
Opened at the August 18th Council Meeting and hopefully awarded
that same night.
Would like to set a day for dedicating a memorial plaque in
Russell Park for Lois Russell who donated the land for the park.
