A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
A request by Dean Nepstad to set up a concession stand in
Thompson Park was considered. The committee told him that
concessions in the park are reserved for the American Legion
team, but he could park a stand near the curb at the park.
The committee referred him back to the license Committee.
The committee approved the Mayor's recommendation for swimming
pool personnel and recommended that we hire applicants as they
are qualified. Milt moved and Ron seconded that we hire Marty
Edgmond as manager and Lee Langlinais, as assistant manager.
Motion was carried. The pool will open June 11.
Milt moved and Ron seconded that we allow the American Legion to
?. place a broadcast booth above the concession stand as long as
they confer with Jim and it meets construction specifications.
Motion was carried.
Doris and Lou Armstrong and Angie Thom attended the meeting
with drawings for the proposed shelter in Thompson.Park. The
committee referred the drawings to Jim for cost estimates.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.

Please note that Marty Edgmond was not hired as manager of the
Pool because she was not available at the time she was needed.
Mary Netz was hired as Pool Manager.
