A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
We reviewed the plan for Thomson Park and Jim asked for
more time to be able to get the drawing correct. Jim will
also bring to the next meeting a model of a charcoal grill
he is designing for Riverside Park.,
Ken Olson asked about the soccer goals being made by
the City Crew. It was determined that the goals would not
work as backstops for T-ball.
Discussion was held on having pop dispenser machines at
the pool. More discussion is needed. We must consider who
will be allowed to sell concessions and when.
At the next meeting, the park committee will meet with
Mayor Gauthier concerning the price of swimming pool tickets,
will consider a policy booklet for the parks, will review
the Thomson Park plan, and will start the procedures for
hiring summer personnel for the parks.
