A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The Committee made recommendations to hire the following
people for Lifeguards for the pool's 1989 season:
Martha Edgmond, Assistant Manager
Jason Vetsch
Joshua Vetsch
Lee Friedt
colin Currv
Wendy Riojas
Scott Edwards
Virginia Kincy
Eric Cleveland
Lanaya Steffan
Aaron Benner
Tony Prill
Dawn Temple
Amy Nelson (may not be available)
Motion by Ron Faught, seconded by Jim Flisrand to recommend
the above named people for Lifeguard positions. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.

Roan moved, Chuck seconded that we hire the following
swimming tool personnel:
Mary Net'z, manager! Marty Edgmand, assistant manager; Wendy
(" icias, Tony Pri l 1, ..Josh Vetsch, Jason Vetsc h, Ginny K i.nt: w,
Eric Cleveland, Dawn Temple, Colin Curry, Lanaga Steffan,
Aaron Benner, Scott Edwards, and AmU Nelson. Motion
carried.
We discussed a request for wind surfing at the South Par[.::
I'? C:) n CJ . The committee was unable to reach a decision and
decided to i n v i t e the r e q u e;:s t ee to the council meeting
Tuesday, June 6.
We discussed the recreation program but Ann Easton gali::as
unable to attend this meeting and we set up a meeting for
Mondaw, I"ir.':ay 30 to further discuss the program. Discussion
was held on whether to paw the instructors on an hourly
wage arrangement or by contract for their services.
We discussed how many Part:i::aF''o'ttie<.::s will be needed in the
park for the Centennial Celebration. Jim will check with
Darrell McGi l len to see if the Fireman have arranged for
any.
