A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
Motion b Ron Fau ht, seconded by Donna Kilpatrick that
the Committee allow the Christmas to Remember, Laurel Arts &
Crafts Guild, and the Laurel Herbsfest to sponsor the Festival
in the Park, in Firemen's Park Friday September 22, 1989.
Motion carried.
Jean Carroll Thompson explained that the plans are to have
tables set up in the park for people to display and sell their
works. Entertainment will be provided and a dance floor with a
canopy will be provided by the sponsoring groups.
The next meeting will be September 14th and Ann Easton will
be asked to attend to report on the summer recreation program.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
