A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
Motion b Chuck Dickerson, seconded by Bob Strand that
the Little League and American Legion team in September provide
us with a financial statement of the concession stand operation
for the year with a check for 10% of the net profits. Motion
carried.
Coca.l.c_?r Motion b Chuck Dickerson, seconded by Jim Flisrand that
we give the Laurel Girl's Softball Association exclusive rights
3-6-gyp to use the equipment boxes in Nutting Park. Motion carried.
Game schedules will be provided to Jim Worthington by the
Laurel Little League, American Legion and Laurel Girl's Softball
Association.
Parking near Nutting Park was discussed, Preparation
(grading) of the parking lot near Nutting Park will be completed
and the possibility of posting no parking signs on the east side
of Alder Avenue will be studied.
Motion by Chuck Dickerson, seconded by Bob Strand that we
charge a $10.00 fee for-:reserving the proposed shelter in Thomson
Park. Motion carried. A sign stating who reserved the Park
Shelter and for what hours will be posted.
Motion by Chuck Dickerson, seconded by Bob Strand that.-.if
we don't have any reponse from the advertisement for a pool
manager by Feb. 28th we will advertise in the Billings Gazette.
Motion carried.
Also discussed was the building of an announcer's booth
40 on top of the old concession stand. Permission has already been
given for the construction of an announcer's stand but the old
concession stand is not structurally sound enough to sustain the
added weight.
