A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The minutes of the last meeting were amended to add the
following: Motion by Bob Strand, seconded by Jim Flisrand, that
we accept the bid from Laurel Ford for a new pick-up for the
Park department. Motion carried.
Invitations will be issued to the Manager and Assistant
Manager of the pool to attend the-August 23rd meeting for an
evaluation of this season's pool operation and to the Little
League and the American Legion for the September 13th meeting
for the same purpose.
Bob Strand recommended that the pool stay open until Monday,
September 3rd.
A problem exists with the use of the water spigot on the
new water fountain in Thomson Park. The handle has to be
removed because of vandals making the spigot unworkable. Any
ideas on a solution are welcomed.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
