A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Motion by Bob Strand, seconded by Bill Brennan that we
allow the Laurel Girls Softball Association to use the three
fields at Nutting Park for season games and practices. Motion
carried.
The group also asked to have exclusive rights to the
equipment boxes located in the Park. It was concluded that
• the equipment boxes already belong to the LGSA so no action
was taken. Donna will talk to Cindy Chapple (not affiliated
with the LGSA) about helping to keep the park clean. The
LGSA will try to have a field maintenance day on April 20th
and she will participate.
Jim Worthington moved, Bob Strand seconded that we allow
the Yellowstone boat float association to land their crafts
at the Yellowstone River near Riverside Park on July 14th,
1991. Motion carried.
Bill Brennan moved, seconded by Dennis Eaton, that Mike
Gauthier be hired for Pool Manager and that he assist with
interviewing the other lifeguard and Assistant Manager applicants.
Motion carried.
Dennis Eaton moved, seconded by Jim Flisrand. that we hire
Ann Easton as Recreation Director. Motion carried.
Bill Brennan moved, seconded by Dennis Eaton, that we
allow Bob Strand to hold a Music Festival at Riverside Park
August 23-25. Motion carried.
Greg Branstetter from the Little League requested that
the lights be turned on in Athletic Field for a tournament
beginning April 22nd. Donna will take this up with the
Budget/Finance committee and get back to Greg.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:06 p.m.
