A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Donna reported that Norman Orr had inquired about the location
of the underground watering system in Fireman's Park. The
firemen were going to be installing underground wiring in Firemen's
Park in order to improve the electrical capabilities in the park.
Norm said that he would get a drawing of the plans to Jim
Worthington, It should be made available to the City Engineer's
• office as additional underground watering systems is planned
for the park.
Jim Worthington explained that Conoco is going to begin to
replace a pipeline that runs across Riverside Park. The work
is being done to comply with state regulations in regards to
the planned highway improvement in that area.
A financial report for the operation of the concession
stand in Thomson Park has not been received as requested. Jim
Worthington will send another letter requesting the report to
be presented at the November 21st park meeting,
The Park meeting for November has been set forward a week
due to the Thanksgiving holiday to November 21st.
