Fred reported on work: being done on the field in Athletic
Field. Dugouts have been removed and will be placed outside
the fence. Swings and teter totters will be moved over to
the playground area. Jim Worthington will measure for the
holes and mark: where the swings should go. A crane will be
used to move the swing set to the new l oat i on . Montana
Power has been contacted to locate the underground wiring
in the area. Fled Clay f i l l dirt will be, added to the
playing field with the excess to be stored in the football
field. A work: day is being planned for Saturday, March 14
in Athletic Field by the American Legion baseball team
group.
A request was received from the Pioneer Ki wani, s Club and
the Laurel. Chamber- of Commerce concerning selling
concessions in Thomson Park: during Aviation Days,, March 27
and 28. The committee sees no problem with allowing the
sale of concessions and the two groups will be notified.
A request from the Ihaur el Gi rl. Softball Assn. to use the
fields in Nutting-Mid-and a field in the Baseball complex
on Cast Eighth St. was approved by the committee.
