A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
We received a call from Cindy Chapple who is having difficulty
getting the field for 2 days for her team to practice. The
Committee approved her using the complex, but said she must work
out the scheduling with the Laurel Girls Softball Association and
the Committee will not intervene.
A bid of $500.00 was received from the Little League/American
• Legion team for maintenance of Athletic Field. This will cover:
garbage pick-up, care of the infield, care of all 3 Little League
fields, cleaning dugouts, fence repair, sprinkler repair, and
trimming of the grass around the fences.
The Committee felt that this is what the concession stand
receipts were for. A meeting with Fred FeuerbacharLegion coach,
Bob Gauthier, Chuck Rodgers, and the Park Committee members was
set for April 28th to determine what to do.
We will patch cracks in the tennis courts as weather and
man power permit. Swimming pool work will begin sometime in
May. We'll have another training session for lifeguards like we
had last year.

ADA codes are. pretty well being met. We must comply by
The Laurel Babysitting Co-op will provide a sand box in
Kiwanis park and water will be brought over to the shelter
