A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the Committee: A motion was made by Bill Brennan, seconded by Lonnie Kellogg that we allow the Jaycees to dig a pit for a volleyball court 021.Vw»4-, oF_,] with the project being under the supervision of Jim Worthington. The nets will only be in place when the Jaycees are using the courts. Motion carried. Gary Waddell was at the meeting to inquire why a dead bolt lock had not been installed at the concession stands. Vandals created about $1,500 to $2,000 worth of damage to the concession stand in a break in sometime on Sunday June 4th or Monday June 5th. The committee had never been approached concerning the dead bolt nor had Jim or Dave Michael. Gary inquired about the City's insurance coverage which is $5,000 per incident. Gay Easton commended the park crew for the way the cemetery looked on Memorial Day, and for a job well done. The Park committee recommends that the city purchase red tank tops for the lifeguards with the word "lifeguard" in white across the front. The pool is holding water and tomorrow's opening is going along as expected. Lesson prices will remain the same as last year, $12.00. Ann Easton will teach the lifeguards how to teach swimming lessons and it should involve about 4 hours, she estimates. Respectfully submitted, Donna Kilpatrick, Chairman
