A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Motion by Emelie Eaton, seconded by Lonnie Kellogg that
we do.riot allow beer sales in Fireman's Park for the Chili
cook-off planned July 3 1993. Keith Thompson attended the
meeting to see if something could be worked out to allow the
sales. Motion carried.
Motion by Lonnie Kellogg, seconded by Emelie Eaton, that
we turn down a lease request by George Figgins for the West
Pond. (letter attached) Motion carried.
The Committee received a letter from Curt Hoffman, Pool
Manager for the 1992 swim season, with suggestions-for
improvements fot-the swimming pool for next year. The pool has
been prepared and is closed for the winter season.
Emelie reported that the.re-is:some:barbed wire located at
South Pond that is unsightly. Dave will check it out.
The leases for the groups that lease buildings in Riverside
Park will expire November 30, 1992. The Committee has received
copies of the leases and will have their recommendations ready
for the next meeting.
