PARK COMMITTEE MEETING
MARCH 25, 1993 5:00 P.M.
CITY HALL
Members present: Chairman- Donna Kilpatrick
Gay Easton Lonnie Kellogg
Jim Worthington
Others present: Mark Mace, President of Little League
Kris Vogele, American Legion Manager
Clarence Eastlick, American Legion
Cheryll Lund, Laurel Girls Softball
Discussed the field maintenance program and the upcoming
baseball/softball season. The City will mow the outfield at
Thomson Park and the baseball group will water and maintain the
rest of the fields.
Permission was granted to the Girl's Softball Association to put
orange plastic snow fence up along the southeast and southwest
baselines of the Tee-Sall and Minor fields.
The gate at Athletic Field (on the northeast side) will be widened
an additional 9 feet.
Gail Wisecup and Liz Feurbaucher will be in charge of concessions.
The lights at Athletic Field will be turned on May 1st.- The water
to the park will be turned on as soon as weather permits (about the
middle of April).
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
