CITY HALL
MEMBERS PRESENT: Bill Brennan Emelie Eaton
Jim Worthington Jim Flisrand

Chairman-- Donna Kilpatrick
Emelie shared a list of needs she has compiled for each park. Each
member of the committee is being asked to assess each park for
needs and a recommendation will be made on how to spend the $11,000
currently earmarked for new development in the Parks.
Lonnie reported that the Laurel Rod and Gun Club is working with
the Department of Fish, wildlife and Parks to remove the moss in
South Pond.
Three lifeguards will start Tuesday, June 1st doing preliminary
work and readying of the pool for the June 11th opening.
Jim will report at the next park meeting concerning the condition
of the tennis courts.
The city is in need of both a new pool and new tennis courts. It
was recommended that we wait to see what develops from the Grant
Committee before trying to secure funds for either a new pool or
new courts.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
