MINUTES-read and approved
COMMUNICATIONS-Yellowstone County Legislative Day will be October
10 at the Parmly Billings Library from +4=30 to 6:30. Sandra
Westerman submitted her letter of resignation effective Oct.
1 41986. There will be a ne:eting this afternoon at 1=00 at the
Graff School concerning Constitutional Initiative 27. The
Herbsfeat committee does not want Wymont beverages to present uo
a check during the feet. Adele Zink received a latter from Mr.
Delano concerning the ON Grant. Wes will gat this grant submitted
this week.
REPORT-Traffic for August 86 was 2168, down 9% from August of 65
and down 18% from July 06. Circulation was 4527 for August 86,
the same as August 85 and down 17% from July of 85.
FINANCIAL-99% of the ii.brarise budget comes from property tax
COMMITTEE REPORTS-
GRANTS-Adele received some information from Montana Powor
concerning their grants.
FUNDRAISING-Gene Williams will resume work on the fund drive
after Oct. 1. It was woved.seconded, and paeaed to table any
action on establishing a foundation until the next meeting.
P.A.L.S.-The collection development policy workshop was
attended by Peggy Arnold .on September 1S..
NEW BUSINESS-Several ln?divixluale will be contacted to see if they
are interested in serving on the library board as a temporary
member while Evelyn Crow is out of town for five months.
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY-The next meeting will be September 29 at
2=00 at the library.
