INSURANCE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Jim Carlson reported to the committee that paid claims for a 15-
month period ending November 1, 1983, was $55,208. Premiums paid
for the same period was $54,840.
Blue Corss.is in the process of evaluating the Business and Agri-
culture Plan (which we are included)-and should have this completed
by the 3rd week in March. There is a possibility of approximately
a 20% increase in premiums on June lst due to the increasing costs
of medical care.
Discussion.
Next meeting is scheduled for March 27th, at 3:00 p.m., in the
. Council Chambers for all employees to meet with Blue Cross and
discuss the changes in the plan and the new rates.
Meeting adjourned'at 5:15 p.m.
