A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The committee met to discu ss the specifications for a group
medical insurance plan.
Don Hackmann reported that he had contacted Blue Cross in
Great Falls, and they said that they could not give us a
utilization report because the City of Laurel was included
with a larger group, other than just City employees.
Request for proposals will be advertised in the Laurel Outlook
on March 2, 1983,.and also sent to the following insurance
companies and/or agents: - Blue Cross, Prudential, Lincoln
National, Equitable, Mutua l of Omaha, Blue Shield, New York
Life, and Washington-Natio nal (League office).
Proposals will be opened a nd read aloud at the April 5th
Council meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
