INSURANCE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
-.-The committee met to discuss the renewal of the City's insurance
policies for next fiscal year.
Don Hackmann will check with Williams Agency to see what percent
of increase we might be looking at.
The committee recommends that if the insurance rates do not increase
more than 10% that the City stay with the current policy. This
would be the third year, then go out for bids for fiscal year 84-85.
Group health insurance was discussed. Several employees are unhappy
with Blue Cross, and it was suggested that the City go out for bid
to see if we can find a bettor company and a better policy without
too much of a premium-- increase .
Specifications will be prepared, advertise for bids by March 1st
and open bids April 5th.
It was suggested that the new policy run concurrent with our fiscal
year.
The next meeting is scheduled for February-23rd at 7:00 p.m.
