A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Motion by Lonnie Kellogg, seconded by Emelie Eaton, to
refund swimming lesson fees to Mrs. Nicholson and Mrs. Brannon
when their children were unable to take the lessons due to
illness. Motion carried.
Ann Easton reported on the summer swimming lesson program
and recreation programs. Offered and termed very successful
were pre-school, beginner and intermediate swimming lessons.
Also successful were bumper bowling, bowling, tennis, tumbling,
crafts, and the adult water walking.
Motion by Ron Faught, seconded by Emelie Eaton, to hold the
Festival in the Park in Firemen's Park .on.Friday, September 25th.
Motion carried.
Ron Faught reported that the available electricity was not
adequate for the 4th of July activities in the area of the
barbeque. Jim will check that area out.
Lonnie suggested that we need to remind Joe Bradley to
get the letter written to the State concerning the repairing
of the roofs in Riverside Park.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
