FIRE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
Ken Olson reported on the Truck Committee specs. They
will be available next week so that it can go out for an
informational bid.
• Ken Olson reported that the Fire Department wants to know
what routes would be open to the department in order that they
have complete access to any location for the 4th of July
Celebration. Darrell suggested that the Committee go back to the
plan used during the Centennial celebration.
Discussion concerning bussing of people in and out of the
fireworks area.
Chuck Rodgers discussed the proposal for the truck storage
buirdting. He showed maps of the city shop area.
Chuck Rodgers reported on the developement of a new map of
all the Fire District areas.
Darrell McGillen reported that the fire districts do fall
under initiative 105. The assessed value of 1986 would be
beneficial to the Fire Department.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
