CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE AS A WHOLE

Bob Gauthier presented. the mayor's status report dated 4/1/86.
Discussion reqardinq Charles Gerttulla's water bill.
Bob mentioned that the digging of a new pit at the landfill has
been delaved until we find out what the City is going to do about
a transfer station. The current pit will last about 3 months.
Discussion regarding the street sweeper bids.
Bob mentioned that we have hired John Minch as Cemetery Caretaker
and we received notification today that there may be some funding
available for reimbursement on his salary. This is due to a program
for training Vietnam veterans if they have been unemployed for a
period. of time.
Bob reported on the elected officials' seminar in Bozeman, March 20--
22 and also distributed notebooks for those officials who could not
attend.
Bob mentioned that we have had. some problems with garbage cans being
set afire.
Budget worksheets should be turned in because budget meetings will
start next week.
Bob announced that the new computer has arrived., but it has not
been installed yet.
Bruce Teeters has expressed an interest to serve on the Board of
Adjustment after Rod Adams' term expires in May, 1986.
