Bob distributed the Mayor's Status Report dated October 21, 1986.
Bob reported that we bought a new pickup truck for the Street
Department.
Bob reported that the road around the new section at the
cemetery has been paved.
Bob stated that the new garbage truck will be delivered tomorrow
morning.
It was reported that the Nursing Home was going to have their
ground breaking ceremony at 9:30 tomorrow morning.
There will also be a meeting tomorrow afternoon at 4:15 with the
Fish & Game Department regarding the boat ramp at Riverside Park.
Mel Krug questioned the ordinance regarding reconsideration of
the final action of the Council. He feels that once a decision
is made it should be final and not allowed to be brought up
again. He stated that a topic could be brought up meeting after
meeting and could go on forever. It was explained that it is
up to the Council to vote on whether or not to reconsider.
Discussion regarding whether or not the City Council Committee
as a Whole meeting should be discontinued since so many people
are coming later and later each meeting. It was decided that
the meetings are beneficial and should be continued.
Meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Sharon Herman
Deputy City Clerk
