Bob distributed the Mayor's Status Report dated April 7, 1987.
The State has started work on the streets on East Main and when
they start on lst Avenue they will be taking off some millage
from the sides and give that material to the City. It makes
good packing material to fill in on the sides of streets when
we do our chip sealing. There is a storage problem and the
plan is to store it north of the swimming pool until around
June. Discussion.
• The library has received a $30,000 grant from BN. There will
be a Silver Tea at the library on Thursday, April 9th, from
1--7pm.
The City is now sweeping streets on Tuesdays and Fridays.
There have been some problems at the Water Plant. The budget
does not look good right now due to some repair bills.
Testing is in progress to select a new police officer. A
recommendation on hi-band radios will be coming up under the
Police Committee report. Attached to the back of the Mayor's
Status Report is the Police Department Incident report for
February and March.
Discussion regarding the purchase of an unmarked police car.
Meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Don Hackmann, City Clerk
