Others present: Alan Crowe, Jim Flisrand, Peg Kamerzel,
Ernie Davis, Dave Michael, Don Hackman
- Bob distributed the mayor's s-tatus report dated 5-19-87.
- Asphalt has been received and the road repair work has
begun.
- Discussion regarding the streets that will be repaired
this year.
- After the paving project has been substantially completed,
there have been cuts made in the pavement for raising
the water valves and man holes.
- Summer help has been hired to work in the parks.
- Pat Johnson has resigned.
- Volk Construction has most of the work completed on the
WWTP.
- Preliminary and final designs are completed for the East
Main lift station and bids for construction should be
advertised in the near future.
- Earl Linger's driveway approach has been taken care of.
- Discussion regarding work to be done on the tennis courts.
This will be a joint venture with the school district.
- At tonights council meeting there will be resolutions
presented calling for a public hearing on water and sewer
rate increase and a decrease in the garbage rates.
- discussion regarding bad ruts and chuck holes in the street
at 1st Ave. South and Railroad Street and at the corner of
• South 5th Avenue and Railroad Street. Jim is checking
with the county to see if they will share in some of the
costs on Railroad Street

Changes in the swimming pool fees, etc., will be discussed
at the council meeting tonight.
