Bob distributed the mayor's status report dated July 7, 1987.
Ratification of the 1987-88 Union Contract is on the agenda
tonight.
Selection of a site for the new library is also on the agenda
tonight.
The new nursing home is scheduled to open August 4th.
. Bob announced that Dee McLellan(' 'Aas been hire(.' to replace
Pat Johnson.

Others present: Alan Crowe, Ernie Davis, Dave Michael, and
Don Hackmann
The Police Department activity report and the maintenance
schedule for streets, water, sewer and garbage are attached to the
Mayor's Status Report.
Alan Crowe reported that it was a good 4th of July for the
Police Department.
Chuck Rodgers reported that there is a broken pipe in Kiwanis
Park, between the swings and water fountain.
Alan Crowe reported that a child had fallen off the slide at
Russell Park.
Don Meyers reported that Mr. Hazen had contacted him
regarding his sewer backing up. This had been turned over to the
insurance carrier.
Dave Michael reported that the swimming pool was inspected
today by the County Health Department.

Bob Gauthier reported that we had a final inspection at the
• Donna Kilpatrick said that Retail Trades is going to bring
back the carnival again this year. They are looking for a location,
possibly east of Boise Cascade. This will be held on July 22-25.

There is a resolution on the agenda tonight declaring it
unnecessary to hold a Primary Election.
The swimming pool is closed tomorrow for CPR training.
Discussion regarding setting up a Capitol Project Fund for
the swimming pool.
Meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
