CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
December 1, 1987 at 6:30 p.m., Council Chambers

Others present: Joe Bradley (late), Alan Crowe, Pat Metzger,
Jim Flisrand, Ernie Davis, Dave Michael, Don Hackmann
Bob distributed the Mayor's status report dated December 1,
1987, and the November Police Activity Report.
The General Fund has a low balance at this time of year. We
still haven't received the poker machine money, which was due
last month. We won't receive the tax check until the middle of
December.
The Mayor cautioned everyone on holding down their expenditures
• until January. Even though you are still within the budget, the
cash is not available at this time.
The City Christmas Party is planned for December 14th at the
Laurel Golf Club.
Discussion regarding the One (1) Ton Truck being purchased for the
sewer plant. EPA is Funding 75% of it and they would not approve
buying a larger one, because they felt that it might be used else-
where.
Discussion regarding the accepting of the bid for a new police car
tonight. Because of cash flow, it should not be delivered until
February, or later. More discussion regarding police vehicles.
Discussion regarding the scheduling of employees at the Water
Plant.
Donna Kilpatrick will discuss the results of the Consolidation
Survey at tonight's Council Meeting. Everyone should have
received a copy of this in their mail box.
Discussion regarding MRL and that someone should welcome them to
the community.
