0 Bob distributed the Mayor's status report dated May 4, 1988.
Negotiations are going very slow. The next meeting will be in
a couple of weeks.
The Budget/Finance Committee is in the process of reviewing the
1988-89 budget requests and next year does not look good. The
current revenue is not coming in as projected, approximately
$ 100,000.00 under the estimate. The Mayor advises everyone to
hold down spending for the next couple of months.
The 1986-87 audit report will be given tonight.
Jim Flisrand briefed the Council on the landfill. The state no
longer wants the land that the landfill is located on. They
don't want the responsibility or liability. The State wants the
City to purchase some land and trade them for the landfill
property.
Don Hackmann distributed the updated list of Committees.
Don Hackmann also distributed and asked the Department Heads to
review a new proposed time ticket.
