Jim Flisrand gave an update on the repair of 12th and 13th Street.
• This is a joint venture with the County. There is some delay due
to the asphalt plant having problems. After this project is
completed we will get back to the chip sealing program.
We will have 2 less summer employees, as their 90 days were up.
So now we only have 3 summer employees for awhile.
There have been fewer water leaks.
The water level at the plant now is at the same level as September
of last year.
D.L. McGillen gave an update on the Fire Service area.
Joe Bradley reported that he had. received a letter last week from
Book Publishing Co. regarding the codification of the Laurel
Municipal Code.
Discussion regarding Asphalt Supply. We have not heard anything
recently from the County Attorney.
Mr. Langve is not able to cut the weeds in Cherry Hills, but
someone that works for one of the banks involved will take care
of it.

Discussion regarding the house being moved which is currently
parked by 12th Street and 1st Avenue. Since this area is in the
County, Jim has contacted the Sheriff's office. He will try to
contact someone again.
