Bob distributed the Mayor's status report dated September 6, 1988.
. Bob Gauthier reported that they have reached a tentative agree-
ment with the Union. They will meet to ratify it on September
14 and it will be on the Council's agenda September 20th.
This year's chip sealing is almost complete.
Water lines will be installed for the new library and on East
5th Street.
Received official verification on the Thomson Park grant.
Complaints have been reported about debris at the Library
construction site.
Joe reported on the Chamber building in Firemen's Park, the Ray
Fiechtner claim, and the Byron Guenthner letter.
The house on lst Ave. and 12th St. is still there..
Chuck Rodgers reported about a safety hazard on 4th Ave. and 7th
Street.
Several tree branches are laying in the streets around town.
It was suggested that maybe the Animal Control officer could
report abandoned cars, broken tree branches, etc., when she
sees them as she is driving around town.
Report of weeds on East 7th Street between Locust and Juniper.
Reports of skunks around town.
Report of a hole in the sidewalk on 1st Ave. by the high school.
Apparently this is for the high school irrigation system and
there are caps missing.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:55 P.M.
