Bob distributed the Mayor's status report dated November 1, 1988.
Bob reported that most of the summer work has been completed.
• The new Library is now open.
Bob gave an update on the LUFSA Agreement.
Dave Michael briefed the Council on the computer problem at the
Sewer Plant.
Landfill preparation work has been completed. The City plans to
take over the landfill operation in January.
Discussion regarding the shortage of personnel in the garbage
department.
Joe Foley, from the Retired Men's Club, spoke regarding problems
they are having with the Chamber at the Tourist Information Center.
Roy Williams spoke on behalf of the Chamber in response to the
comments by Joe Foley and stated the reasons for the placement of
the display racks. The Retired Men's Club doesn't like where these
racks have been placed.
Joe Bradley advised the Council to go over to the Retired Men's
Club building and take a look at where the racks are placed and
tell them what they think.
