Place of Meeting Members present: Chairman Ron Marshall Bruce Teeters Chuck Dickerson Others present: Alan Crowe Dave Michael Council Chambers Bob Gauthier.. Chuck Rodgers L.D. Collins Donna Kilpatrick Jim Flisrand Don Hackmann Bob distributed the Mayor's status report dated May 2, 1989. . The advertising for Cemetary/Utilit_y worked closed last Friday. There were approximately 70 applications for this position. The Personnel committee will meet late this week or first part of next week. The temporary position at the landfill has about 30 applications so far. The last day for taking applications is may 5th. Hiring .f_or summer help in the parks will begin soon. Bob received a call for Mrs. Ruff regarding a problem with her water bill in a rental. He suggested that the Public Utilities Committee review the circumstances. Chuck Rodgers, Jim Flisrand, and Bob Gauthier have received phone calls from a resident at 12th & Beartooth regarding repair and maintenance of their gravel street. This person will probably be at the Council meeting tonight. On the Agenda tonight is the discussion about the Jaycee's street dance on July 3rd. This will be postponed until the next Council meeting. Discussion regarding the dump being closed on Saturdays. it will probably remain this way for another 3 or 4 weeks until someone is hired. 0 Page 2 City Council Committee of the Whole Discussion regarding George's Appliances. He has moved the appliances off of Main and around to the side. Discussion regarding Equipment Finders. There has been some activity around there. Apparently he has started to correct some of the problems that he said he would. Discussion regarding hiring an architect for the FAP renovation project. Hiring of summer help for the street program will probably be in June. Cemetary and parks come first. The meeting with Fish, Wildlife and Parks is set for May 26th to discuss the Thomson Park Project. The meeting was adjourned at 7:52 P.M. Respectfully submitted, 1?? Don Hackmann City Clerk 0
